For over a decade, Tomas Kennedy lived as an undocumented immigrant. Watching his parents overcome their struggles to try and achieve success led Tomas to become involved in student activism and immigration reform advocacy. He graduated with an International Relations major from Florida International University and worked with the Florida Immigrant Coalition, was a fellow for the Center for Community Change Action, and currently serves as the Florida State Coordinator for United We Dream.
