Episode 21: Bird Bath

Hillary and Tina cover former Rowan County Clerk of Courts Kim Davis and Senator William Langer.

Hillary's Story
Kim Davis served as Rowan County Clerk of Courts beginning in 2015. But when she refused to adhere to the Supreme Court’s Same Sex Marriage decision citing religious rights, Davis became a symbol of intolerance.

Tina's Story
Prior to his senatorship, William “Wild Bill” Langer served as state attorney and later as governor for two terms beginning in 1932. But, when allegations of then Governor Langer’s attempt to defraud the government came to light, Wild Bill fought the law--and Wild Bill won.
