Episode 61: Spectator to Horror

Hillary and Tina cover Governor of Texas Greg Abbott and former Broward County Sheriff Walter R. Clark.

Hillary’s Story
As Texas’s longest serving attorney general, Greg Abbott ruled with a conservative bent which led to a sweeping gubernatorial win in 2014, but when an unprecedented winter storm hits Texas, the governor faces scrutiny for his handling of the crisis.

Tina’s Story
Walter Clark served as Broward County’s longest running sheriff holding office from 1931-1939 and again from 1941-1950. His corrupt lifestyle and relationship with the mafia ended his career, but it was his racism and role in a lynching that mark him as one of our most terrible sheriffs.
