Hillary’s Story
In 1959, Ruth Bader Ginsburg earn her law degree from Columbia University. But, when she faced challenges securing employment due to her sex, and witnessed more progressive views on gender equality in Sweden, she became a force to be reckoned with as lawyer and later as the co-founder of the Women’s Rights Project with the ACLU.
Tina’s Story
After her work with the ACLU, RBG gets appointed by Carter to the second highest court in the land, The Court of Appeals. But, when she continues to distinguish herself as a judge who judges fairly and with integrity while standing up for all Americans rather than the powerful few, she earns a spot on the highest court, The Supreme Court of the United States.
